Instruction sheet for candy cane and ornament craft with drawing.

The care and safety of your dough bowl or block is very important to us.

Please read and follow the Care and Directions card you receive with your order (also below).

Your bowl or block is designed to be safe and beautiful.

Our dough bowls and blocks are hand carved and treated with a fire retardant. They are as safe as they are beautiful.

Directions for our Dough Bowls and Blocks

  • Place dough bowl on smooth, hard surface in an open area.
  • For even burning, keep dough bowl out of the wind or the draft of a fan or air conditioner
  •  Light all wicks at the same time. The first time you burn the candle, allow it to burn for up to 3 hours or until the wax has melted to the edges.
  • NEVER LEAVE UNATTENDED!
  •  Burn no more than 3 hours at a time.
  • Trim wicks if necessary but not too short.
  • Candle is done when only ½ of an inch of wax remains in the bowl. Over burning with no wax left in the bowl could cause fire!
  • Dough bowls and blocks can be refilled locally by us or with one of our easy-to-use refill kits or repurposed as home décor! Order a refill kit here:

Disclaimer

Wood is a natural material. Over time, with changes in temperature, small cracks can develop that can cause leakage. If the candle bowl leaks, wipe away with a clean cloth. If wax has already hardened, a spatula can be used to gently scrape away the wax.

GOOD NEWS! We can fix your candle bowl if cracks develop! You can contact us HERE. We will repair your bowl at no charge.
